There ARE flaws in this film, and the modest budget means the special effects aren't quite as good as they probably should be.   None of this will matter to  your kids and it probably won't matter to you, because this is a film that has that rare magic where actors, script, director, story, photography...

Wonderful movie, very magical
Lover of quirky, unique films, a fan of clever plots

This was my favorite movie when i was a kid. I love the drama and the suspense. I fell in love with all the characters, especially Bastian, Atreyu and the childlike empress. I laughed i cried and it never got old. I watched it several times recently and there was so much i missed or never understood when i was a kid. i still love the move, maybe because it takes me back to my childhood. I am not a fan of fantasy, but this movie is an exception.

This movie makes you believe that your dreams really can become a reality.
