The Mist —
The movie was intense. I walked in expecting a horror film when all i got instead was more of a intense break down of the possibilities of what could happen. There would be those tyed in but inocent, the unbelievers, the unrealists, the realists, the religious, the quick to blame, the rioters, ect. It showed the different characteristics that come out of people when fear takes over. Im not just labeling it as fear but it goes beyond fear. It took the audience on a little trip of self discovery in the sence... as a viewer with every new situation brought to the screen i wondered what i would do to the very last second of the film when the army came in to save him... I was so distraught when I asked myself the question if i could shoot my own son to protect him from unimaginable pain and then to know that they could have been saved minutes later... no. I never want to see this movie again. it was an excellent movie and an experience to go through only once. if i watched it a second time i dont think it would have the same effect as it did the first.
