My review of The Mirage Hotel and Casino

The Mirage Hotel and Casino was very tropical and cool as you arrive at the entrance. Lots of green plants and flowers as you walk on a curing path to the entrance of the Casino and lobby. The service was exceptional in the hotel, restaurants, and casino. The lagoon with dolphins and their trainers was very educational. The trainers encouraged one on one dialog after the training sessions which we really apprecated. Connected to the dolphin's three pooled lagoon, with underwater viewing, was the shaded and spray misted jungle setting for the lions, tigers, panthers and leopards. It was such a cooling and refreshing interlude for us to relax and revive in, we hated to leave. A tip would be to go after 3:00PM as most of the large cats are nocturnal. They started waking up and some chased and played around at this time. I'm sure the later it gets the more active they becomes. The hair dryer was missing in the room. I didn't notice that until I went to use it and that made for a slowed down start to a graduation ceremony we were to attend, waiting for them to bring a hair dryer up to us.

Entertainment: Short Walk, We really enjoyed walking right across the street to the Venetian Hotel and Casino to view the Guggenheim Art exhibit. The artist was Rubens and we were lucky enough to have a college art professor lead the dosent tour. What a privilege to view those great paintings so close up. I had no idea they were so large.
