Simple, easy, truthful diet.

By

Comments about The Lose Weight Diet:

I've been on the lose weight diet for a couple of months now. It's pretty simple. The idea of it is that no matter how much you eat or weigh, just cut 500 calories out of your diet a day and you will lose weight. The site also teaches you about foods that are good and avoiding empty calories. Really simple things. It's really a life style change and you won't see instant results. You lose the weight slowly and hopefully come out eating better and choosing healthier options. It's not a fad diet or promises amazing instant results. It seems really truthful, simple, and requires you to make the changes instead of taking a pill. I would recommend this diet to anyone looking to lose weight, live healthier, and over all feel better. If you are looking for fast results, to shed a couple of pounds for an event, or to not change your eating habits this probably wouldn't be the best option for you.

Just Plain Common Sense

By

from USA

Comments about The Lose Weight Diet:

I have spent so much money on new diet fads. After running across The Lose Weight Diet, I thought that I would give it a try. The diet seems simple enough as it is mostly just about cutting down on your calorie intake. The main message of The Lose Weight Diet is that no matter how much you weigh, all that you have to do is cut down on your calorie intake by 500 calories. The Lose Weight Diet allows you to eat lots of meat, as it is a great source for protein. It also explains the difference between good and bad carbs as well as teaches you how to spot empty calories. This diet is pretty much just common sense, if you cut back on your food intake, you will lose weight. I tried this diet for approximately five months and did lose a few pounds, but not what I had expected. I feel that The Lose Weight Diet plan is more of a weight loss guide, rather than a diet. This would be a good program to follow along with a diet plan.

Could weight loss really be this easy???

By

from Milford, MI

Comments about The Lose Weight Diet:

The Lose Weight Diet (www.theloseweightdiet.com) is as simple as it's name. With three easy steps, you are able to start losing weight, armed with all the knowledge you need to be successful...or so the Web site says.

**The Idea Behind the Lose Weight Diet**

The whole point of the diet is to count calories and take in fewer calories than your body needs to maintain it's current wait. Does anyone NOT know that? I didn't think so. It continues on by saying that you can also lose weight by burning calories through exercise. Is this shocking news for people wanting to lose weight? Not in the least!

That's pretty much it. The owner of the site even states that the title of the diet is too damn literal. I feel like she is talking down to anyone serious about losing weight.

**Knowing How to Lose Weight and Losing Weight**

The problem with the Lose Weight Diet is that it is oversimplified. It doesn't take exceptions to the rule into account. What about people with metabolism problems or those taking medication that prevent them from losing weight despite eating fewer calories?

There is also a difference between knowing what to do to lose weight and doing it. Even once you do get started, there are issues of emotional eating, motivation, support, setbacks, and maintenance, to name a few. It is not as simple as robotic-ally eating less and watching the weight magically fall off.

**My Recommendation**

I don't recommend visiting this weight loss site because there is no new information, no statistics, studies or expert testimony to back up the information presented and I feel that it is completely oversimplified and doesn't address the real issues behind losing weight and keeping it off.
