A wonderfully engaging book for any child.  A younger child will appreciate the pictures, with the intricate black and white drawings.  The older child will love the story.  The book is challenging in that the pictures and text flow together to tell the story.  The reader will have a few pages of text, followed by a few pages of illustrations.  The illustrations must be followed closely because they are part of the text.  My children love this book and I've recommended it to several friends who have enjoyed it. —… read full review »
