The Immortal Highlander is one of a series involving time travel, magic, romance and characters to fall in love with. This series appears to have ended more the pity. I have them all and go back for a re read when I need a dose of magic in my life. — You cannot go wrong with Ms Moning unless you are a total cynic. The time traveling Highlander Series by Karen Marie Moning is a fun read, a great series, and if you love romance with a bit of danger then jump right in. — I like the fact that her female leads are smart, independent women who lead interesting lives before they are sent back in time to meet their man. — She also resists using a lot the romance novel language "man root" and "sweet nectar" and the like though there is enough there to keep romance fans happy. — Smart, fun, slightly magical, these books are a good read. —… read full review »

This is only one of the many books she has that will keep you up all night wishing you could travel through time!  Her new series is also one to look into. This book is really good, the author explains everything in details. Its funny and sad, and exotic a romantic all at the same time. I would recommend this book to everyone I know.
