The Husband  —

To the Point

Dean Koontz's book The Husband was a New York Times Bestseller. I concur that this was well deserved.

A Closer View

The Husband was published in 2006.  Koontz is the author of many, many books including Forever Odd, False Memory and Seize the Night. Sometimes I find his books a bit too strange but not so in the case of The Husband.

Mitch gets a call asking for 2 million dollars in ransom for his kidnapped wife. He is a gardener, certainly someone without much money in the bank. He would do anything for Holly and had sixty hours to prove it.

This is a thriller! This is an "I can't put it down book." This is a book I didn't want to end and couldn't wait to continue reading.

I would love to tell you all about the book but I'm going to take the advice of Booklist. As is written in the book "Nothing should be given away about this sinuous nail biter's developments. " So I will leave it as a must read if you are at all a Koontz fan. I think it's his best book to date.

Jo's Viewpoint

I like it!
