This book is amazing. It is in the young adult section, but it's definitely interesting to those of all ages.The premise is about a young girl named Katniss Everdeen, who takes the place of her younger sister in a lethal battle required in the futuristic society they live in. They enter a strange world where they are all fighting for their survival, a game of mental willpower and physical stamina.
This book explores many themes that are frighteningly relateable to our society today, as well as elements of a love story and a girl's personal journey in growing up.
I cannot sing enough praise about this novel, but please read it and give it a chance, even if you think sci-fi is not your thing. Read it! It's amazing!
