Using the lotion is a unique sensation - you rub it between your hands, and the bar melts with your body heat. The feeling can be a bit greasy and sticky when you put it on, so before you use it, make sure you're not driving or doing something important that requires a solid grip. The scent is very non-offensive - no heavy perfume or flowery smell.
Once it absorbs into your skin, the greasy and sticky feeling is not so bad, and it leaves your hands feeling nice and soft. The great thing about the bar being made with beeswax - it's waterproof! Seriously, washing your hands won't wash the stuff off - so it has very good staying power, and even though it's a bit pricey (I think my wife paid $14), you get good value since you don't have to re-apply it after hand washing. Also, the company claims that a bar will last up to 6 months with daily use, although we haven't had it that long, or used it that much yet (it's summer, after all). I suspect it will get much more use when the weather turns colder.
Overall, very much recommended, especially for those with very dry skin. Just be aware that this is a very heavy lotion, and is not really meant for someone looking for an everyday, lightweight moisturizer.
