The Homestead is the worst hotel in Northwest Michigan. The location is great but the hotel is dated, the staff is horrible and the rooms/linens are some of the worst I have ever experienced.
Do not use THE HOMESTEAD for your wedding and reception. Vendors are not treated well, staff supervisors make it almost impossible to set up if you have been hired as a vendor. Wedding party will be pushed out by staff before reception is even over.
