Most HelpfulWhen I was in school; I found history classes to be dull, unengaging and provoked no thought at all due to the subject presentation. Therefore, I studied for tests and memorized all of the dates, names and places; so I could pass the course and move on to classes far more interesting. The items I remembered after those classes were minimized to statements such as, "You know, that battle at Waterloo with what's his name....". Really classy, huh?
As an adult, I just naturally kept the notion that I hated history in general as a subject and was glad I wasn't in school anymore. But one night...

WITH THE BOMBARDMENT OF REALITY TV AND SHOWS JUST FILLED WITH PURE SILLINESS, THE HISTORY CHANNEL IS A REFRESHING ALTERNATIVE. THERE ARE OTHER GOOD SHOWS OUT THERE, BUT WHEN YOU'RE STUCK AND CAN'T FIND ANYTHING TO WATCH SEE WHAT'S ON THE HISTORY CHANNEL, YOU MIGHT BE SUPRISED.
IF YOU WANT TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW, CHECK THEM OUT. YOUR TELEVISION DOES NOT ALWAY HAVE TO BE AN IDIOT BOX.
I really like the History channel. There is so much you can learn from watching. My family also watches it and that includes some of my granchildren. My husband really likes it when they have documentary's on there about the wars. I like watching the history of our war ships. The Edmen Fitgerald is my favorite show they had on there.
The History channel always has something new on to watch. There is so much to learn.A perfect place to do it.
