The Hills Review

I have been watching this show pretty much ever since it began as a follow-up to Laguna Beach.  I thought that once I became a mother and busied myself with other things, I would no longer watch, but I am totally addicted to "The Hills" and don't really know why.  Even though I am well aware of the fact that much of it is scripted and reinacted (as LC has publicly admitted to), I can't seem to keep myself away from the drama.  I am always interested to see what new fight Heidi and Spencer get into and what problems the girls start amongst one another.  It's just one of those things that you can't peel yourself away from, and it's nice to live vicariously through others who don't seem to have a (real) care in the world.  I still haven't quite figured out the point to this show, but it seems to be doing well, and when you TiVo it, it ends up being about 10 minutes long after fast forwarding through the commercials.
