i have had Hartford insurance for a couple of years now.  a few months ago i was involved in an accident away from home.  my insurance is supposed to cover towing and rental car.  The catch is you have to find your own rental car and find a way to go get it.  They do not pay for the tow truck to come and get your car.  You have to pay for it out of pocket first.  Tow trucks do not take credit cards or checks.  You have to pay cash.  Do you usually have that much cash in your pocket?
