The Great Indoors is a great place for inspiration, but not necessarily a good place to shop. They have everything from home decor to very expensive appliances. It can be fun to browse the aisles and imagine the Viking stove or walk-in-fridge in your house, but it is easy to become overwhelmed with choices and feel inferior because you can't afford everything on display. It is a great source for "hey I like that" inspiration.
Service seems to be lacking at the store - it is difficult to find anyone to help you, and because the store is so massive, if you try to hunt someone down, it's likely you will forget where you were standing when you needed someone.
The Starbucks by the door is a nice touch, but I usually find myself buying a drink because it's there, not because I needed caffeine. Very clever placement there.
