The Golden Compass Review

The hoopla surrounding the movie was nonsense.  The Golden Compass has ho-hum acting, lazy directing, and the special effects looked amateurish at best.  It was disappointing to see that the movie barely followed the book, that the actors barely acted, and that the special effects barely made a mark.  By now, we expect much more from a movie.  And, this movie did not deliver.
