Amazing special effects, good story

I have not had a chance to read the book yet, but the movie was much more than the kids movie I thought it was going to be.  It opens new areas of thought,  a world where your demons are not bad, but a constant companion.    It also shows how even against supposedly unsurmountable odds,  when people who appear to be enemies and also people that "so called society looks down on" unite,  the world can become a better place.    The special effects were wonderful,  I left wanting my own demon, and also wishing thre was a way to meet the battle bears.   It said a lot about todays world but it was done in the same style as the old fables.   I cant wait for the next installment
