My favorite Children's book.

picky about children's books, a person who enjoys quality, read for fun

a classic, teaches sacrifice for others, teaches morals

I don't remember a lot from childhood, honestly. But I do remember this book. I loved this book when I was younger and I love it now. The illustrations and the storyline together make this book one that I will not forget, but rather one that I will read to my children and that hopefully they will read to their children. This book is about sacrifice of the greatest kind.
