The Game Plan is a nice movie to rent for family night. It has a little something for everyone. Th Rock is in a lot of shots that highlight his muscles, there is a football theme for the sports fans, humor and the most adorable eight year old girl.

The Game Plan didn't strike me as good enough to see at the theater, but we rented it and watched the DVD at home. My five year old has no interest, but that is to be expected. My nine year old son enjoyed the movie. He thought there were a lot of funny parts and liked the dog as well.

I am not a football or sports fan by any means, but I did enjoy watching The Game Plan. I thought the girl did an amazing job. I was drawn into her story and how she could inspire this popular, self-centered football player to be a father and a better person.

The Game Plan is not an ward-winning film, but it is a fun family flick. Ladies, if you like The Rock, you will get plenty of eye candy by watching this movie. Personally, I found it to be a bit much how they would focus on his body and how great he is the whole time. It was part of his character in the film, but it was a bit over the top for me.

I remember when the Rock was a newbie wrestler with a crazy hair do and no personality. He completely turned around and suddenly was so charismatic, I knew he would do well in acting. I miss him in the wrestling ring but am glad he has found success in Hollywood.
