The Forbidden Kingdom —

Warning: I may be a little biased because I am a BIG Jackie Chan fan! ;o)

Directed by Rob Minkoff, The Forbidden Kingdom is an action adventure that stars Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Together in a film for the first time, they make a comically dynamic duo.

A troubled teen who gets walked all over, Jason, played by Michael Angarano, is mystically taken on a journey to discover how strong he truly is. With hilarious slapstick comedy that's fused by the interesting fighting, choreographed by Woo-ping Yuen (THE MATRIX, KILL BILL). This film was shot on location in China. The beautiful scenes and costumes and neato FX really add a nice touch to the quality of the film.

It's not necessarily for those who really enjoy R-rating violent films. This film is more for those who appreciate karate and respectful self defense in a "fun for the whole family" type movie. This clean cut, wholesome film has some awesome messages in the action packed storyline. This is a great film for parents who want to enjoy a martial arts movie while watching in front of the kids!

Other cast: Crystal Liu, Collin Chou, Juana Collignon
