It was movie week and the gang decided on this movie because it looked pretty good. In the beginning we all began to look at one-another as if we made a mistake but once the movie got started we all relaxed(lol).

The Plot (In short....because it is...lol):

For the first time ever Jet Li and Jackie Chan team up in this movie about a kid who sets out on a quest to return a fighting stick to it's rightful owner. Once Jason ( played by Michael Angarano) is transported to a land before his time he joins forces with fierce warriors who have sworn to free their imprisoned king at all costs who by the way is the rightful owner of the fighting stick.

Bottom Line:

Every movie (just about) has a character that steals the show and for me with this movie Jet Li's duel role as The Monkey King and The Silent Monk (especially) is TOO FUNNY. I never imagined Jet Li could pull of a somewhat funny role but he does a splendid job as well as Jackie Chan! In addition you have some out of this world awesome fighting scenes that will drop your jaw and leave you trying to catch your breath from all the action. The story line is a bit weak but when other key ingredients are involved it's easy to overlook.....overall it was great fun and well worth the price of admission!
