Great for newborns and infants

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

One of the gifts my daughter received at her baby shower was The First Years Newborn To Toddler Tub With Sling.  She had this on her baby registry at Amazon, and was pleased when she was given this gift.

It comes in blue for boys or pink for girls, and is two bathtubs in one.  When our baby was first born we had to be careful not to get her umbilical cord wet, so the removable sling worked great!  It attaches easily ot both ends ot the molded plastic tub, and allowed just part of her to get wet and stay warm during the bathing process.

When babies get older, you can remove the sling and sit them on the little ledge, which works well.  You still need to be right ther...

First Years tub is a great basic baby bathtub!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I received the First Years Sure Comfort infant tub when I was pregnant with my first child. I liked the basic design and simple appearance. I used it for two kids and was so happy with it! It doesn't have any fancy bells and whistles, but that is OK! The sling insert is nice for newborns and holds baby fairly well. Of course, you still need to have a hand on baby while using it, but it helps. As my kids got bigger we used the different seating areas of the tub. I liked the shallower "shelf" area and kept shampoo and soap there while using the tub. Easy to use in the sink, on the floor, on the counter, etc. Plastic material is also very easy to clean when needed. We were so pleased with it, I...

Great infant tub for a low cost.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I used this tub with my two boys and plan on using it with my third boy when he arrives in March!  I have already gotten my money out of this tub seeing how it was inexpensive to begin with.  The sling attaches and detaches easily and is so handy for newborn babies.  It is easy to use.  The plug will indicate if the water is too hot or cold and since it fits on your kitchen sink it is easy to drain the tub.  It is a little slippery on the bottom.  I've noticed that I have to hold onto my baby tightly to keep them from slipping down, but overall it works well.  This tub claims to convert to a toddler tub.  My boys were both big babies and had outgrown t...

Nice Bathtub for the price!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I have the First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn to Toddler Tub with Sling in a little different color than the one pictured.  I did lots of research on infant tubs in all price ranges and just decided to get this one from Target for under twenty dollars.  Well I can say I'm very happy I did!  We used the sling at first and it was a real comfort to know the baby was up above the water.  We put the sling in the washer and hanged it up to dry and it did very well holding up.  I like how easy it was to just clip it over the sides of the tub.

After you get through the little baby stage the tub is great to allow the baby to sit in the water comfortably with out w...

Great tub. Used with two children in sink or tub.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I got this tub as a gift for my first baby, Jasmine. I used the newborn sling until her umbilical cord fell off and that area could be submerged. I then used the infant side until she could sit up unassisted. The tub fit perfectly in my kitchen sink. It has a tray to keep your tools like shampoo, baby wash, etc. There are non-slide pads on the bottom on the infant and toddler sides to keep babies butt from sliding. My daughter seemed comfortable and I was able to easily wash and rinse her. There is a stopper at the bottome as well to drain the water. 4 years later I still had the bath and had another baby, Jaylen. At this point I lived in a different home, with a different style and size sin...

Newborn To Toddler Tub all you need

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This is a really excellent tub. When I was pregnant with my first I was (as most new mommies are) OBSESSED with only getting the best of the best for my baby. After reading lots of reviews and looking at lots of tubs, I settled on this one. And I loved it so much, I am now using it with my second!

It is extremely comfortable (or so it appears to be) for babies even as young as newborns. The sling provides lots of support and puts them in a great position. The sling and pads are mildew resistant so it doesn't get yucky even though it's exposed to water on a daily basis.

The back rest of the tub is adjustable too, so the transition from sling to sitting up is easier and safer.

The drain plug also changes color when the water reaches a certain temperature, that way you can always be sure the water never gets too hot.

It can be uses in the bath tub, on the counter, or it also fits over MOST (NOT all) single and double sinks for added convenience.

The First Years Tub is the best!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

We bought this as the first tub for our little girl. At the time everyone was telling us to get one with the little jets, and all the extra toys that hang around the tub, but we decided to go for the simple, yet effective tub, and boy were we right! One of my concerns, was to make sure the tub was padded and also would fit into our kitchen sink, and it exceeded both of our worries! At first, we used the sling, when myl ittle girl was only a few weeks old, then realized for us, it worked better without the sling. It was the perfect size, and I LOVED the fact that it had a side for her to recline as a baby, and a side to sit up with a straight back when she got older. This is really one of the only things we are keeping for the other baby, as most of the other baby products we decided to get rid of. We also used it to help convert her slowly into the big tub, which worked out very nicely as a go-between from sink to tub.

great tub if you have the space to use it

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

We have been pleased with our baby bath tub.  We love that it comes with the newborn sling for when their little belly button stumps are so sensitive and when the first touch of water sends them into a pile of screaming mess.

Now that our son is older, he loves bath time and it is great to have the ridge in the middle to keep his slippery tush for sliding all over the place.  We have progressed from the sling, to the reclined seat, to now the upright seat.  I do not think the tub is going to last much longer though, as our son's feet are already touching the end.

The tub is difficult to get clean because of all the little crevices.  It would be so much easier if I could just wipe it down.  But I have to get something to shove down into the little nooks and crannies, because that is where the grime accumulates.

In retrospect, I think I would have prefered to use an insert that goes in the bathtub.  Or something that is less bulky to store.

The deluxe tub for your newborn or toddler

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

While the baby was still in the belly, I did a lot of shopping around for baby bathtubs. What to choose , what to choose? So I did what a lot of you folks are doing and I read reviews on different tubs to see which one would best suit what I was looking for. I was looking for a tub that would grow with my baby so to speak. Something I could use when he was a newborn and as he was an infant and toddler. This tub sounded exactly like what I was looking for and needed. This tub comes with a sling that is perfect for cradling baby in the tub while your hands are free to wash them. The sling can then be removed as baby sits up a little more steadily and doesnt need the hammock-like support. The t...

First Years Tub is a great value!

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

The First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn to Toddler Tub with Sling is a great baby tub. It's durable and inexpensive. The side that has an "incline" is perfect for babies who cannot sit up on their own, though they can slip to their side as it does not curve at all.

I got this tub as a gift and was very grateful for it. When I looked for a cheap replacement to use at grandma's, I noticed others had a little bump were baby's crotch would sit- I'm assuming to help keep them in place, but it looked uncomfortable to me and I was glad to realize my tub did not have that!

**The sling is another story. I was not pleased with it. The whole point of the sling is to have a newborn sit saf...

This tub makes bath time fun for baby and easy for me!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Overall baby loves it, I love it, and I think it's totally worth the purchase. It's so much easier and safer than bathing in a kitchen sink (as I've heard some people do!) or in the bathtub where an unstable baby may fall and hurt themselves. For only about 15-20$, you can't go wrong!

Great tub for the price!

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I registered for The First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn to Toddler Tub on my baby registry when I was pregnant with my son.  I researched several different brands and styles and decided on this one because it easily converts from an infant tub to a toddler tub by removing the sling.  It also got great reviews at Babies R Us online.

I have now been using the tub for nine months and my only complaint is how slippery the tub is.  There is nothing on the inside of the tub to prevent your baby from slipping which I think is a major safety hazard.  Besides that, I think the tub is great.

great helper for the tub

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I loved First Years Newborn To Toddler Tub With Sling.  It was a great help for bath time and I loved the sling.  It was softer for my babies and easy to clean and use.  I put mine in the regular bathtub and it was so much easier and the price is totally acceptable.  I liked how the sling held my babies head comfortably and didn't hurt them or was too hard.  For my first child i just used the regular baby tub with no net and he hated it.  But for my other two children I had the sling and it helped tremendously.  Loved the color options and you can pretty much find these anywhere.  I got mine at Target.  It is easy to store and cleans up nicel...

This is a Great (and Safe) Tub For That Growing Baby!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

After using the Summer Infant Baby Bather for we had to move up in size when our baby got to six months and was too big for the first one.  We were gifted one of these Sure Comfort Deluxe tubs, which can be used for both newborns and toddlers.  Our daughter took to the new tub right away, and with the added freedom and space of this new tub also came the fun she now has with bath time.  It isn't so much a chore anymore as a time to bond between us and the baby, and this is a great tool to have on hand during that process.

This is another very affordable bathtub to have around the house, but it isn't quite as baby safe as the Summer Infant Bather.  ...

Safe, secure--the perfect tub for the perfect price!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Affordable? Check. Safe? Check. Comfortable for mom/dad and baby at bathtime? Check. We absolutely love the First Years Newborn to Toddler tub! It doesn't have all the frills and plastic frogs and light up whatevers that some of the baby tubs do these days, but it is infinitely more practical and a much better deal price-wise (who wants to spend $40 on a baby bathtub?!). The detachable sling/hammock was perfect to hold baby in place when she was a newborn, and it works great even as baby grows with a side for reclining and another for sitting up when they hit that stage. Plus it fits perfectly in a normal double kitchen sink. The only bad part as far as I'm concerned is the size--it would be nice to have something more compact for the sake of easy storage. Since we use it every night anyway, it just sits on our kitchen window sill, but it would be hard to store in a smaller home or apartment.
