Most HelpfulI have Soothie bottles and Avent bottles and my daughter favors the Soothie bottles as well as the Soothie pacifiers.
Pros:
Bottle lid snaps onto bottom of bottle, making it easier to keep track of the lid.
Bottle comes with snack cup which also snaps onto bottom of bottle. For super easy outings with my baby, I fill a bottle with water and then fill the snack cup with the right amount of powder formula so when my baby is hungry, I just snap off the snack cup and pour it right into the bottle and shake. Quick and easy! When my daughter starts drinking something other than formula I can use the snack...
review »I LOVED this bottle!!!My son is no longer drinking out of one but when he was this bottle was the greatest..He has alot of health issues and had spent his first year of life in and out of the hospital for various surgeries and this bottle was the perfect bottle for him..He loved his SOOTHIE paci while in the hospital and this has the same nipple which didn't confuse him like some bottles do with newborns...plus once he was done eating we would give him his Soothie paci and he still thought he had a bottle in his mouth and would fall asleep(with the hazard of gas and choking on milk)...i would recommend...
review »Soothie bottles are good for younger children, but when they get a little older the child can push the nipple back into the bottle causing milk to spill out. The bottles are very round and may be a little difficult for younger babies to hold on to. Also, if the bottle is left on it's side, milk with spill out onto the carpet. I love'd though that they came with cute pictures but the overall performance of the bottle left alot to be desired.
I absolutely loved the Soothie brand bottles. I had used a Playtex bottle before and had so much trouble because there were so many pieces. I knew right away when I became pregnant with my second child only 18 month after having my first that I defiently needed something different. I looked around for several months during my pregnancy and talked with several of other moms that I knew to see what they had used or reconmmened. I also knew I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on getting started because I knew I would need to have at least six bottles to get started and I had seen some of the starter...
review »These Soothie bottles made by The First Years are excellent. We had this baby in our home and he was using regular bottles and spitting up a lot. He would spit up every-time he would eat. He was using the soothie pacifiers from the hospital. I saw the soothie bottles at walmart and thought wow, I wonder if those might help with the babies spitting up so much. Well we bought two of them and took them home. I fed the baby with one of the soothie bottles right away and it was the first time since he was born that he did not spit up. I wondered if it was just a coincidence so I tried not to get to...
review »I absolutely loved the soothie bottles starter kit and so did my child! As a first time mom I wasn't really sure what my child needed in this area. I had heard that some babies don't like certain bottles and a few people told me that they actually tried 3 or 4 types before they found one their child took to! So I started out with the Soothie Starter set. There were large and small bottles, stage 1 and 2 nipples, storage containers for formula (or snacks when they get a little older), a pacifier and a bottle brush. I would and did recommend them to everyone i knew that was having a baby! The nipples...
review »I am going to be writing a review about the Soothies bottle called " the first years soothie bottle starter kit baby bottle. " I had my first baby and only kid on april twenty-first of the year two-thousand-eight. I bought several different brands of bottles soothie, store brand, the glass bottles, playtex with and with the liners you can buy for this specific bottle (platex). Out of all of those bottles, I just really seem to like the soothies brand better than any other bottles. To tell you the truth it really did help with my babys gas and made him a lot happier. Another thing that I seemed...
review »I use The First Years Soothie bottles for my son who is now 5 months old. He has been using them since he was born and in the hospital. We have never had any kinds of problems with them and he loves them! He absolutely will not use anything else... I've tried other bottles and he just spits them out! They also make different size bottles. He has both the fatter ones and the skinnier contoured ones with the Winnie the Pooh designs on them and he loves them both! Unfortunately my son wasnt impressed about the Soothie pacifiers but he still likes the bottles. I wish they would have had them...
