As a mom of four children you'd think I'd have everything I needed. With the space limited around here and the baby needing to be tilted for feedings being so young I needed something not so big and bulky yet reclined and was comfortable, soft and washable. Purchasing something that could grow with baby...

Bought this high chair/booster chair to safe space. What you see is what you get, space saver, grows with child, durable, washable, easy to assemble and dismantle. Only thing sometimes I think its not too sturdy, I feel as though my daughter might break it. Yet its very convinient, probably wouldnt want...

I bought this First Years booster in 2002 for use with my niece before I was married and I am pretty sure that the one being reviewed here is the descendant of the one I have.  I originally bought this for use in our house when my sister visited and brought my niece.  It was a good deal price-wise but also we thought we would be able to use it for her different stages long while based off reviews at the time since it could be used with young ones with a tray and older ones as a booster.  Little did we know, we would still be using it with our own daughter 5 years later, making it even a better... review »

The First Years Booster Seat/High Chair is so practical I don't know why anyone wouldn't buy it.  I live in your average size house.  I don't have a huge kitchen to really store any bulky high chairs so when I became pregnant and registered for my baby shower a friend recommended The First Years Booster High Chair.  To this day it was the BEST recommendation for a high chair I have ever received.  The chair is reclining so when the babies start to eat, you can lean the chair back since babies aren't usually sitting up by four months when they start to eat baby food.  Then as they are growing,...

We purchased this booster seat to take with us on vacation.  We were most interested in the fact that it is extremely portable, folds up easily and sets up practically anywhere.  We have learned that this seat is not only perfect for vacation, but for home as well!  We use it for meals at home, we carry it to restaurants when we eat out, we take it to our friends homes when we're visiting...we take it everywhere.  It is incredibly easy to fold up and carries easily with the shoulder strap or smaller handle.  Setting up takes less than a minute!  Simply place the seat into a chair, buckle... review »

I bought this booster instead of a highchair. I don't have the space for a hightchair and I liked the fact that the booster can be on a regular chair. I started using it when my daughter was 6 months. She is now 19 mo. I don't use the tray as often as she can sit with us at the table.

I love the fact that you can wash everything in the dishwasher or the washer...

This is the best chair, I had an evenflo full size high chair to begin with, and got this one to take with us on trips.  This is the only chair we use now, it is easy to clean, there are little areas for food to get stuck, and easy to take with you.

The first years booster seat is GREAT! You just strap it onto your kitchen chair and attach the tray for younger eaters. My 2 yr old still uses it without the tray pushed up to the table. We even took it with us on vacation!

This seat is okay, but it is aggrivating to fold/unfold and click together each time.  I would just leave it unfolded and ready to use each time.

I received this as a gift off my registry so Im not certian how much it cost.  But, I am so greatful for this gift.  Compared to the many items we have purchased for my new baby girl this one tops them all.  She can eat, watch TV and sometimes even take a nap.

The adjustable lean is perfect when she has her bottle I lean her all the way back and for TV time I sit her straight up.  She loves her chair!

we got this seat for our baby cuz we wanted to save $ and space. this First Years Booster Seat has been the best purchases to date, of many gobs of baby goodies we've got.

I love the idea of a chair being attached to an adult chair, as it teaches the baby about the real restaurant-type booster seats. its also easier to transport, if the baby suddenly becomes attached to the seat and is much more worry free to have around. i dont have to worry that it may fall down on the baby or that the breaks are on or that its too nice to get messy.

i i like the 3 recline options, though sometimes these are harder...

This chair is wonderful for our small house.  We do not have a separate dining room, meanning that we have a table and four chairs in our already too-small kitchen.  We knew there was no way we could fit a high chair in on top of everything else - the answer was this little chair.  It is easy to set up and use - just strap it to a chair and go!  It is very easy to remove from the chair to be able to take it to grandma's house or wherever.

I have been using this chair with my son since he was about 2 months old - there are four different positions, so the chair can adjust as the child grows...

My mother and I found the First Year's Booster Seat at BJ's Wholesale club.  It hadn't occured to me before I saw it that it would come in so handy. My son had just started eating solids and we were perplexed on how to feed him when we were visiting places like "grandma's house".  We saw this product and thought it would be great and solve our problem!  My son loves to sit in the chair and it is confortable for him.  It works pretty easily and is almost like his regular highchair back at home. The only problem that i have encountered is the straps that hook it onto a regular chair.  They...

This baby booster seat is amazing.

It is very easy to clean and the tray can be thrown into the dishwasher, too!  The straps come off as well, and can be thrown into the washing machine.

It worked for my kids from when we were first starting them on baby food until they were old enough to sit in regular seating.  Once they were older, we just clicked them into the seat and pushed them right up to the table without the tray.  The arms of the booster seat fit under the dining room table, so they could be scootched in as far as they needed to be to prevent spills on their clothes.

Its adjustable...

The First Years High Chair / Booster Seat was a good buy for our baby. It didn't cost much more than the others available and personaly I look not only for a good deal but also quality and this product did it for me. It's one of those high chair that you position on top of a chair and is securely tight to it with 2 harnesses. Also it has a harness to secure the baby when sitting that my son always tryes to undo but never can, very very good! The cover is washable and that is definetly a plus that not many other chair have, it makes it easy and quick if there is a spill out to take it off the plastic...
