A gift for cosleeping baby

5

My first one dint sleep well in his crib for the first few months. So i did some reaserch and bought this first years close and secure sleeper bed and i put it in the crib and made him sleep in that. It was cozy , secure and he slept well. It has a breatheble mesh so the baby wont suffocte if it turns his head when he stars moving. This is an awsome sleeper which helped me to have a good night sleep while my baby securly sleeps in that and after few months he outgrow the bed and we cut the bottom pad and continued for some more months and later he used to the crib and sleep well in his crib. When we travelled we used to carry this bed with us and its a wondeful travel bed, my baby dint have the feeling of missing home. FOr the second one i purchased little early before she arrives and she sleeps in that form the first day and she cosleeps with us with this safe and secure sleeper. The name is perfect and it is the safer bed for my baby. I love this bed very much and i bought this gift for so many babyshowers and they all loved this.

Helpful but seems uncomfortable

3

Our newborn baby did not want to sleep in his bassinette and we had no clue what to do.  He was overtired and we weren't sleeping at all because he was so miserable in it.  I heard of these little sleepers before but was wary of having my baby sleep in bed with me.  I was nervous that we would roll over onto him or that our blankets would somehow cover his face and he would suffocate.  Well, we went ahead and purchased one of these sleepers and it was one of the best purchases we ever made!  Our little guy likes sleeping in between us and he seems to sleep much better than before.  On the negative side, the little "mattress" in the sleeper seems like nothing more than a changing pad and there really are no sheets to fit it.  We ended up wrapping a receiving blanket tightly around it to make it a little more comfortable.  Also, you really almost need a king size bed if you want to be comfortable with this sleeper in between your pillows.  We have a queen size bed and our pillows, normal-sized pillows, hang off the bed and we each only have a small area to sleep on.  Finally, there seems to be an incline to the sleeper that my little guy really doesn't like.  He always ends up in the bottom corner of the sleeper with the bottom half of his body completely hanging outside of the sleeper.  So while this has been great for our little guy in terms of allowing him some sleep, I think there is more that could be done to make these better.
