Most HelpfulMy baby is 6 months old, this week... she has been latching on worse and worse! I barely ever give her a bottle and when I do it's water, just for her to play with after she eats some cereal or something...
So I got this bottle because I thought she would get less air and MAYBE it would help with her...

Most HelpfulI exclusively breastfed my first two children, but need to supplement for medical reasons this time and found Breastflow in an ad online. They are the best!!
I had used Avent and liked them alot, but these have a two part nipple design and the flow is slower and the outer nipple much softer, so more like...
read full review »We started with Avent bottles and even with the slow-flow newborn nipple, it seemed the flow was too fast and he lost quite a bit of milk out of the side while eating. Because we are breastfeeding, we thought we would try the Breastflow bottles.
At first I thought "I could honestly take them or leave them." He seemed to be more burpy, the flow still seemed too fast (he still lost some out the sides), and I hated how the milk gathered in the nipple and you'd have to squeeze the sides to let the milk back down.
Then as we used them more, they became less strange and I actually liked them. I think...
read full review »THe breastflow bottles are great for those times when you are just not able to breastfeed. i use them only on occasion but my 10 month old has had no problem (since he was 2 months old) drinking from these when i was not able to nurse him.
only downside i have found was that if you forget to squeeze the milk back down into the bottle before you twist off teh cap, you will have a mess all over your hands!
easy to clean- i throw in teh diswasher.
price is worth the product you recieve!
thank you First Years! The breatflow bottle is the only bottle my breastfeed baby will use! this is the best bottle on the market. I have tried EVERY bottle and bottle nipple on the market she wouldn't take them- pushed the nipples out wih her tongue. She immediately latched onto this nipple- the nipple is softer and conforms to her mouth. I was able to attend a wedding and leave her at home cause of these great bottles. This is an excellent bottle for breast feeding moms!
This review is for "The First Years Soothie/Breastflow" bottle which costs between $6-$7 per bottle and worth every penny!. I began using this bottle a few days after coming home from the hospital with our child. I wanted to breastfeed as well as use a bottle, for convenience sake. This bottle allowed my husband or other family members to get in on the fun of feeding the baby without the worry of "nipple confusion". Nipple confusion can be an issue with the baby takes a bottle and then does not want to breastfeed because the bottle nipple is different or the flow (how fast the liquid...
read full review »The First Years Breastflow BPA Free Starter Set were exactly what I was looking for. I really think these are the best bottles out there for breastfeeding moms and I have tried many different kinds. What I love about the Breastflow bottles is the fact this bottle has two nipples! That might sound strange but it actually works just like the breast does. Baby has to open her mouth wider to latch on and has to compress it very similarly to the breast.
These bottles helped me because I was able to see my daughter's latch and where I was going wrong breastfeeding. She also learned how to breastfeed...
