The first years baby nail clipper is great for keeping our daughters nails neat and trim. We received this nail clippers as part of a set for baby grooming tools, and this is the one we use most. We thought about using those infant mitts instead of trimming her nails every few days to make sure she doesn't keep scratching herself in the face, but she hated them. She really likes to have her hands out, and these are the best clippers to use to keep up her nails. They are so easy to use, especially since they have the extended plastic handle to make them easy to hold on to. The are sharp enough to cut her nails, but you have to watch out to make sure not to cut anything else. To avoid that, I just make sure to cut her nails while she is asleep. I also like that they are so small, because they fit in her diaper bag so I can take them anywhere. They are pretty small and easy to lose, which is why we have more then one pair of them now:)

These nail clippers were included in the baby health care kit we got as a shower gift. I loved how easy they were to use on my daughter's little fingers that I actually went out and bought another pair. Small items such as these always get lost around our house and you can never find them when you need them, so it is nice to have an extra pair around. Also handy to throw in the diaper bag for over night trips. The tip is small, so perfect for use on tiny baby fingers. The clippers clip clean and are sharp to cut cleanly and sharply every time. I like the bulb handle. It is easy for a parent's hand to hold on to. Clipping nails can be a difficult task when holding on to a squirmy toddler, but my daughter will sit for a moment while I sing The Itsy Bitsy Spider while using these clippers. When she was first born, I simply used a nail file to trim down her nails because I was afraid of cutting her fingers, but once she was a bit older, these clippers were great!
