The First Years Baby Monitor Reviews

I checked reviews and did my research. This item was more highly rated when I did my research so; that is why I registered for one.

I would give it ZERO stars if I could.

The first one we got from a shower conked out after ONE MONTH. I thought it must be the unit we had so I exchanged it for another...that one lasted about TWO months before it quit.

It would SEEM to be on, but I never heard anything from the baby's room. We were on the deck the first time this occurred and when we went in the house the baby was totally crying!!!

I was VERY upset that the monitor picked up NOTHING! We did not realize...

I am a grandmother , I watch the g'kids daily and needed this for the new baby. It is a great item, the FIRST YEARS MONITOR works great fro when I am down stairs or outside with the older children, It will work out in back yard, have been as far away as 60 feet, and ehard the sounds of the baby.

I cannot remember the rate it is given for distance, but I am happy with the way it works for me. For what I need and the times I have used it, it works great.

I would reccomend The First Years Monitor to anyone budget minded, to buy it for a gidft. Buy it for yourself, or for your child care person.

I BOUGHT THIS BABY MONITOR SO I COULD USE IT FOR MY MOM WHEN SHE IS LIVING HERE WITH ME SO I COULD HEAR HERE THRU THE NIGHT. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE CLARITY THE UNIT HAS AND HOW COMPACT AND EASY TO USE! THERE IS NO HISSING SOUNDS,WHICH I WAS AFFRAID I WOULD HEAR WITH IT BEING ON ALL THE TIME,AND TO NO AVAIL I WAS SURPRISED OF HOW QUIET IT IS. THIS WAS VERY EASY TO HOOK UP AS WELL. JUST TAKE IT OUT OF THE BOX,PLACE IT BY THE PERSON YOU WANT TO HEAR AND THE OTHER RECIEVER IS WHERE YOU ARE AND PLUG IT IN AND PRESTO...YOU HAVE A MONITOR TO HELP YOU OUT WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT! We registered for this monitor during our first pregnancy.  I can't even remember why we chose this partivular one other than there were about 20 to choose from.  We used the monitors the first few months when I wanted to do laundry or sweep out the garage while baby napped.  Once baby moved from our room into the nursery though, our fondness of the monitors diminished.  While the monitor does pick up every single sound the baby makes, it also has a constant humming noise too.  I adjusted to the humming noise but then realized that everytime the dog walked by the handset, the noise changed...

The first years really will get you through the first years with their products.  They are sturdy, reliable and trustworthy.  I bought the First Years baby monitor and it helped me relax.  I knew that i didnt' have to worry about hearing my children when this monitor was plugged in.  I knew that it would do the work for me.  I felt confident leaving the room and knowing that i could hear my children shoudl they make a sound.  I could hear them if something was wrong and i could heard them if they woke up.  I liked this monitor better than others because I noticed that I didn't ahve to worry...
