The Fame by Lady Gaga Review

I was called a musical snob today....and that is not the first time I have heard this. I love to see the contorted faces when someone plucks up my Ipodand finger's through a host of names they never heard of......with question after question I get to turn them on to something new, if not different....and that's always fun producing winning results. I must admit I do think (at times) I can be snobbish when it comes to certain music, mainstream pop in particular, and it's hard not to blame me. Someone asked me had I heard of Lady GaGa and I said yes. Then I was asked do I have any of her music and I said NO. To the person's shock she ran and got her copy and demanded I listen to it. I said, and I quote, okaaaaaaaay but don't expect to have that musical glow afterwards. Just as I expected Lady GaGa's The Fame is pure commercial pop that can be forgotten in the blink of an eye. With only a couple of songs that offer some glimmer of hope not even they can save this (for me). The sound is factory canned and the vocals are robotic completely missing the mark all around!
