Most HelpfulI have been buying the annual Entertainment Book for the Chicago West area for several years and have usually got my money's worth and got a good deal by waiting a bit and buying it a couple months after publication. Also, I would buy it through MyPoints and get 500 points for the purchase. I have...

Most HelpfulOn the surface, this little book looks like something you could actually use, especially if you like going out on the town or out to eat. However, the Entertainment Book proves to be fairly worthless to the average diner.
What Is It?
In short, this is a book full of deals and coupons for a myriad of...

Just the Facts: As far back as I can recall my family always had an Entertainment book. We weren't rich but did OK for a family of four and were able to dine out for half price using coupons from our book.
I still get an Entertainment book every year from my church or my nephew's school as they are sold as fundraisers for organizations. For about $20 I get a book that contains hundreds of coupons for restaurants of all types, ice cream stands, snacky places and stores in the mall, golf, bowling, and...
read full review »I have been buying the Entertainment Book for about 10 years now, and I don't know what I would do without it. I have lived in California, Hawaii and Virginia and have been able to get an Entertainment Book in each state. When moving to an unfamilar place, it is so helpful to have Entertainment Book coupons to rely on for great discounts and buy one get one free meals in new areas.
There are several different sections to an Entertainment Book. There's what I like to call the fancy section, which are restaurants that take the "card" form of an Entertainment Book coupon. The "card" is...
read full review »I have purchased the Entertainment Book for a consecutive number of years and have always been pleased with the selection of merchants, events, dining options, etc. offered. Each year the selection has increased, providing a greater merchant base along with better discounts. I can't think of a better way to find something new (or old) to do and save money doing it! The Entertainment Book website even offers discounts on the purchase and shipping of the book. Printable, additional offers abound there too. The Entertainment Book also makes a great gift - especially for that special, hard-to-buy-for...

I love to save money, but don't we all. One of the best ways I found to save money many years ago (when I was a single parent) was the Entertainment Book. Now, many moons later, I am older, wiser, still a parent and still using the Entertainment Book just about every week. To be honest, the only time I didn't use it was when we lived in Knoxville because there wasn't one available there.
What I like about the Entertainment Book:
I received my own Entertainment book as a gift this year. Normally my mom or grandma buys one for themselves. This year, I'm the lucky one to own one of these books. I never imagined how much money this book could save me!
When I got it I handed it to my boyfriend to look through to find us a place to eat dinner and save money. He looked at me like I was an alien and tossed the book in the backseat of my car. A couple of weeks later I pulled the book out again and handed it to him. This time he humored me and started looking through it. He was amazed at the things we could have...

This is the first time I've purchased the Entertainment Book. I am so very glad that I did. The Orlando book came with Publix Coupons that alone paid for the cost of the book. The discount coupons give us people on a limited income the opportunity to have nights out with both dinner and a movie. I love this book.

The first time I bought an Entertainment Book was probably 3 years ago. Thinking only schools sold them for fundraisers, I skipped out on the years after. When I saw one at Blockbuster for '09 I was excited and bought one immediately.
Considering I've used 3 books for 3 different states (one was my friend's), I can verify that it is indeed a good buy. There are coupons from fast food to fine dining, events, destinations, travel and shopping as well as online printable coupons. Thankfully, their fine dining deals have gone transformed from cut-outs to a membership card so the waiter doesn't look...

This is one of the best investments that I have made all year. While my wife is unemployed, it has given us the opportunity to go out to eat with all the BOGO offers for local resturants. The shopping coupons are excellent as well. Lots of $5.00 of 20 or 30 dollar purchases at stores we actually use.
What really makes the purchase of the book great is the addition of the entertainment website. Here you can type in the store type, and a zip code and look up...
