I have purchased the Entertainment Book for a consecutive number of years and have always been pleased with the selection of merchants, events, dining options, etc. offered.  Each year the selection has increased, providing a greater merchant base along with better discounts. I can't think of a better way to find something new (or old) to do and save money doing it! Since 2003 I've been giving people Entertainment Books for their one-time usage---for my daughter and son-in-law for their honeymoon in San Francisco, my son and daughter-in-law for their honeymoon in Arizona, a relative who just moved to a new town and wants to get acclimated, for my daughter's in-laws who are going on vacation to South Carolina. It's standard to get our hometown books for Houston and Austin, but the price of a book makes it worth getting for even a week's vacation somewhere. I purchased the 2008 book for myself.  My sister from NC saw the book in my purse, don't go any where without it! I have been a patron of the Entertainment book for many years.  I was disapointed last year and this year as well.  This will probably be the last year that I purchase the book.  I have found that the number of restaurants/stores that issue coupons in my area dwindles each year.  Also, the are quite a few of my favorite restaurants that have issued coupons for only one location in my town and it seems that all of those are NOT in my area. … read full review »

I BOUGHT IS BOOK FOR 2007 AND WHAT A DEAL.  THE FIRST TIME I USED THE BOOK I GOT MY MONEY BACK WITH JUST ONE COUPON.  JUST OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD I AM POSITIVE I SAVED WELL OVER $500.00 DOLLARS ON TRIPS TO THE MOVIES, DINING OUT, CAR SERVICES, AND TRIPS TO MOUNTASIA, SPLASH TOWN, BOWLING. I do not get the Entertainment book every year, but I did buy one this year for my husband for Christmas and also for both of my boys in FL.  I never pay full price for the book, I wait until I see a bargain and the book has come down in price.  I have never come close to using all of the book, but I certainly get my monies worth and more.  I would recommend this to all who love to try something new at a bargain price. … read full review »
