I have been to a lot of attractions in my travels, and I just didn't see the big deal with the Empire State building.  The Empire State building has cool art deco decor, but honesly, it is just another tall building.  You can get a great view of the city when someone's head isn't in your… read full review »

Do the Combo Package

My 12 year old daughter and I visited New York this past weekend and went to the Empire State Building for the first time. When you enter you are given a flyer advertising a combo package. Buy the combination and get two attractions. The first is a skyride and the second is the elevator to the observatory at the top of the Empire State Builiding. We did the combo and the skyride was worth it. It is a simulated helicopter ride over New York. If you have ever been to Disney and taken the Soaring over California ride it is similar to that.
