My 12 year old daughter and I visited New York this past weekend and went to the Empire State Building for the first time. When you enter you are given a flyer advertising a combo package. Buy the combination and get two attractions. The first is a skyride and the second is the elevator to the observatory at the top of the Empire State Builiding. We did the combo and the skyride was worth it. It is a simulated helicopter ride over New York. If you have ever been to Disney and taken the Soaring over California ride it is similar to that. A lot of fun and the line to this wasn't long. My daughter loved it. A great break from busy, crowded New York.
