The Egg & I always has a cheery feel to it, kinda like going to my favorite aunts house - only no one grills me about me life :-)

The food is varied and well cooked and presented.  My favorite is the way they find new twists on Eggs Benedict.  Lots of stuff for the health concious as well as gooey, syrupy stuff as well.  I've never had bad service and usually the staff goes the extra mile to make the customers happy

We usually do take out from The Egg and I and so far we haven't had any major issues.  Our food is always warm and well prepared and our order is always complete.  We normally get sandwiches and with those we would like to get fries which they don't have.  I get that it is healthy food but a little fat wouldn't hurt.  The prices are a little high but overall I would recommend it.

The Egg and I is a casual restaurant that serves great breakfast and lunch items.  If you're not in the mood for eggs they have several other options such as oatmeal with berries, granola and raspberry pancakes or french toast.  They also serve flavored coffe.  My husband and I always get the hazelnut coffee.
