The Dirty Dozen 1967 Directed by Robert Aldrich
A tough star-studded variation on a heist movie.
It's all about a suicide mission run by Lee Marvin who takes a group of soldiers about to be sent to prison for being bad soldiers and turns them into tough guys who are assigned to become a hit squad and kill some important Nazi's as they congregate for a social event.
Things don't go smoothly or according to plan. The cast includes: John Cassavettes, Telly Savallas, Charles Bronson, Ernest Borgnine, Jim Brown, George Kennedy, Trini Lopez, Richard Jaekel, Ralph Meeker, Donald Sutherland, Robert Ryan and others. It's an old school tough guy movie, made by a director who made a lot of worthwhile and entertaining movie including Kiss Me Deadly, Attack! and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane.
This one holds up very well. Still a great show.
