This book was much better than I expected. — Credulously well-written and entertaining, THE DIRT tells the story of the formation of Motley Crue and the early years of the members. It is naughty, gossipy, and good plain fun. — People might suspect that a book written by rock stars would be formulaic and amateurish. Not this book.
