The Dick Van Dyke Show Review

I remember watching the Dick Van Dyke show as a little girl.  Rob, Laura, Sally, Buddy, Ritchie, next door neighbors Jerry and Millie and the rest of the Alan Brady show were a part of my life.  I remember being very upset when my mother told me that Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore were NOT married in real life!  Now, as an adult and a mother, my daughters and I have enjoyed watching episodes of this wonderful, warm series. 

Dick Van Dyke is an excellent slapstick comedian.  Mary Tyler Moore is wonderful as his wife and straight man.   This series joins the likes of the Andy Griffith Show as being probably the best in television history.
