Wow — This is such a great book. It catches you and holds you from the first page. Although it is a historical novel it reads as if you were reading fiction. I admit to being more interested in H.H. Holmes I did find all the history about the Worlds Fair, which serves as a backdrop to this serial killers hunting ground, to be fascinating as well. It was a very quick read for me because it was so interesting I couldn't put it down. This would be a great read for the beach this summer now that it is finally out in paperback. avid reader, read for fun, a fan of quick, page turning books, chronic book buyer
This is one of the most enthralling books ever! I could not put it down. it read like one of the most intricate novels ever and it is all true and factual. i am more of a fiction reader generally but i love this author so much i have read all of his books. Isaac's Storm is just as spellbinding. The others are, too but they read less like novels and more like journalism. a must read for anybody who likes books at…
