I love this show but I must admit that during the season when Mike Rowe wasn't narrating, I stopped watching.  As good as the show is, it's really not quite the same w/o Mike Rowe's voice and style.  Great show tho.

Thank you for filling me in. I was really wondering about it Hope Andy didn't try to set him free...I think we would have heard on the show if he had. I agree - Capt. Jonathan has a tender heart to have taken Squawky under his "wing". : ) I think later or tomorrow I'll go to the website and see what I can find out about it. If nothing I'll try to email the show and I can write a review about the results. Are Sig Hansen and Edgar part of MySpace also? It was nice hearing from you.

Oh yes, I saw that part. Squawky was wounded (had a broken wing) and incidentally landed on the ship on his own. Captain Jonathan took him under his "wing" and tried to care for him while Andy slammed him for disturbing the course of nature and blah blah blah. I'm not sure how and where Squawky disappeared from the box...and I try not to heheh. As tough and scruffy as Cpt. John looks....his heart is tender....one can tell. Hey, on MySpace I've added Sig Hansen and Edgar to my friends list! I did that last week.

I missed the part of how one of the captains found squawky the bird - all I know is One minute he kept it in hiss cabin then on the deck and it was gone. Did you catch that one during the marathon?

Absolutely! We're watching th marathon as well. It was in 2006 that Mike Rowe stopped narrating for a season. That was so he could spend time filming Dirty Jobs and stuff. We watch that show religiously too. Not only do we watch Deadliest at all times....my husband even watches all of the repeats during the week! Hahahah! I can watch it twice but not more than that. I live for the new episodes.

Well he's narrating now. We've been watching a marathon. He narrates all the time and even drops in occasionally. Do you watch at all sometimes?
