Oh Deadliest Catch, what have you done? Is it Mike Rowe's soothing voice? Is it the allure of the sea? It's just not logical - in every episode, the EXACT SAME THING happens. Men go out on a crab boat into the freezing cold waters in between Alaska and Russia - and they throw giant cages into the water in the hopes of catching crab to make millions in only a few weeks. But every episode is more intriguing than the last, and whenever there is a Deadliest Catch marathon, I can't pull myself away. I forget to eat. To bathe. To move.

Maybe it's that you think you're learning something while you're watching it? I don't know. If you don't watch this, don't start during a marathon. You'll lose the whole day. Trust me on this one. I speak from experience. It happened to me - twice.

Thanks for the funny review. We have been watching a marathon today. I just said to Kevin that I wondered if anyone at Viewpoints reviewed it. Yours was the first I read. I agree they are basically the same. Thanks for the laugh.

This is truly one of those addictive shows. It's true that if you tune in for one episode you can get hooked!
