The Day The Earth Stood Still Ratings and Reviews
This was not one of the best films that I have seen recently. The special effects were great but seeing them on DVD at home could not compare with seeing them in the theater. The story was a little confusing at times, and it really dragged. The story came together at the end of the film but it took too long to get to that. The characters especially the alien were not well developed. I must admit the remake was better than the original but it could of developed the story much better. I would not recommend this film to my friends.
I waited for this movie to come out on video because I heard that it wasn't that good. But I love it! It was great and even chilling at some points. It had good action and special effects. Maybe it is one of those movies that is better on tv than in the theater.
