I had high expectations and Dark Knight delivered-- and then some. Heath Ledger was fantastic as the joker and the highlight of the film. I am sure his family was so proud to see him pull off such an amazing on screen performance. The rest of the cast was excellent as well, but the Joker definitely stole the show. (not only with the acting performance but with the plot line) Batman had me tense the whole time and there wasnt a moment of dullness. The movie was action packed from "go".... like a thrill ride.

The only downside to the movie is that it is a little long and I wished they did a little more character development. But, all in all, Batman was a great movie and a must see summer action film. And, if you can go see it on the Imax- I hear you should!

The consensus among my friends was A-.

I wasn't too thrilled at going to see this movie because I didn't think much of the first one, but I am so glad my husband made me go with him to see it. It really was a great movie & Heath Ledger was excellent as the Joker.

Love it! It was a bit long, but the character casting and the acting was amazing! A thrill from beginning to end!

I was excited for probably 2 months before it came out then opening weekend I saw it twice. And I'll say this, its an incredible ride. It makes me all the more sadder that Ledger died. I'm still thinking of reviewing it. Anyway, good review!

We really loved it. All performers did so well in their roles. (Yes, The Joker stole the show). Heath's performance/character was very deep and synical. I wish that he could have seen himself on film as well. I actually pulled up interesting facts on Christian Bale from the internet. He certainly stays out of the limelight, which I respect and appreciate about him. Michael Cain and Morgan Freeman have always been some of my favorites.
