Shedding Some Light On The Dark Knight

First off yes it was a good movie, but is it worth all the buzz it's been getting? I say no The Dark Knight is just another typical "Batman" movie. Yes Heath Ledger was hardly recognizeable and had a great acting performance, but to say that this is the best movie of all time i think some old timer's who put more thought into their films and soared above hieghts with ticket and merchandise sales would have hung their head. Welcome to hollywood the tired industry that is all out of ideas. Instead of coming up with new concepts we go back and rewrite the beginning if the movie is so "fab" then why didn't it come first with a long onslaught of sequels like a normal film. Anyways in closing don't go in with super high expectations as i believe you'll leave a little more humbled.

Hollywood has certainly been out of ideas for a long time. Any older movie before 1960s generally had better a story and better acting, at least.
