The Dark Knight —
The dark knight is a work of artistic genius. It was not campy and stayed true to the dark nature of the character, but had a realness about it that would make nonfans still want to see it. With a story that invovles Batman's takedown of the mafia, the mafia employ chaos incarnate to deal with the caped crusader in the form of the joker. The joker was played by Heath Ledger, and he gave a performance of the lifetime. The recent pattern of employing serious actors in these roles has taken comic book movies into the stratosphere. Heath's perfomance was bone-shattering he was the embodiment of the joker and made this film. Go see it know
