What a treasure I have found while searching Amazon.com for some age appropriate books for my son.

The Dangerous Book For Boys is a manual or guide for boys that will turn their attention away from video games to fishing, U.S. Naval Codes, skipping stones and hours of other fulfilling activities.

This books takes me back to the days of Beaver Cleaver. Long summer days and nights hanging out with good friends making paper airplanes, water bombs and coin tricks.

It doesn't matter how old you are.  EVERY boy needs this book!  I've read and re-read this marvel more times than I can count.  This is what childhood should be.  Don't be deceived by the title either.  This book is also quite appropriate for girls.  I've got two young granddaughters who will be benefitting from this book in a few years.  At sixteeen months and five months, they're a bit young to learn Latin phrases or build a treehouse.  They do enjoy the pictures however!
