The Da Vinci Code  —

I had to read this one after watching the movie.  And it was even better than the movie!  I was thrilled that Brown went into so much detail about the Grail legends and especially the info on Mary Magdelene.  I went from respecting her to actually admiring her.  It actually inspired a research project of my own to find out about the real Mary Magdelene.

I'm probably one of the few people out there that felt any good feelings towards Silas, the albino.  I was happy to see that the book went more in depth about his character and gave him more of a backstory.
