The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was a superb movie that left my mind racing for days. The themes it wrapped itself around (nothing lasts forever, the idea of fate and pre-destination) were perhaps even more entertaining than the story itself. The movie revolves around Benjamin Button, a character who's body ages backwards as he grows older. Over the three hours running time, his life is portrayed by actor Brad Pitt beginning at his birth and hitting the important parts of his life experiences.

Director David Fincher, has done numerous outstanding movies. First pairing up with Brad Pitt in Fight Club, they also worked together in the contraversial film Se7en. Brad Pitt, convinced me in this movie that he does have acting abilities. He plays the perfect role of being the humble gentle character (whose makeup artists did a wonderful job!).

If you're looking for a movie that will leave you thinking; a movie that you may learn something from and perhaps even insight into something about yourself; then I highly recommend The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. It is one of my top 10 favorite films of all time.

Great review. I totally want to see this movie even more now. I was surprised Brad didn't win a SAG award last night but the competition is fierce.
