I am a holiday decor fanatic. I have mountains of Christmas decorations that (of course)only get used for about 30 days per year. So what do I do with my ornaments the other 335 days in the year? I store them in the Jubilee Ornament Storage Chest from The Container Store.
The Jubilee Ornament Storage Chest is a three tiered storage box. It has festive holiday fabric covering the outside as well as the inside of the box and the three storage trays. The bottom tray holds up to 20 larger ornaments, while the top two trays each hold up to 32 ornaments. You can also move some of the dividers to accommodate larger ornaments in the top two trays. This equals up to 84 ornaments snugly stored until the next year. The Jubilee Ornament Storage Chest also features handles on the box itself and each of the trays inside, making them easy to lift out and carry around.
I currently have 4 Jubilee Ornament Storage Chests from The Container Store. I love how they are made to be very strong and durable so my ornaments don't break on the trek to and from the attic. I usually stack them in sets of two just in case, but they could probably be stacked 3 high if need be. I also use the Jubilee Ornament Storage Chest to store ribbon, bows, small snow globes and other smaller Christmas decorations.
The dimensions of the Jubilee Ornament Storage Chest are 22-1/2" x 16-1/2" x 14" h. It is sold by The Container Store online and in their retail stores for $89. I think that this price is a little steep for a storage container, but I have probably gotten my money's worth from them. Not a single ornament has broken since I have had them, so despite the price, I am planning to order 2 more later this year.
