I am teaching a night cass for adults at a local high school in Beginning Polymer Clay jewelry/art design. Armed with a barely adequate budget, I shopped for several hours narrowing my choices to three different stores on the web. The type of items I need are not sold in local stores. So, I have to turn to the web - which I do not mind - in fac, I prefer to shop from the comfort of my own couch.
I placed my order - and I had an issue with their shiping rates - they semed extraorinarily high, so I added a note along with my order asking someone to please call me about the shipping costs - and specifically inquired about Priority FLate Rate mail options offered by the USPS .
At 10a, the next morning, I received a call from the owner fo the The Cay Store - Andy. We talked for quite a long time about polymer clay in general, and he counseled me about the different types of clay and what would be appropriate for my sudents' skilll level. He agreed to waive my first order, and allowed me to recorder after I chose the appropriate clays for beginners. He reduced my shippping to USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail rate, and processed and shipped the order on the same day - as I needed the items in 5 days!!!!
I can't say enough good things about Andy and his company. He has my business and I will continue to recommend his site to all I know in the polymer clay field and to my students!
