The Changeling —
I absolutely love The Changeling and found it to be truly emotional and intense, especially since it is based on a true story. I didn't know there were so many layers to the story until I watched it. The movie stars Angelina Jolie as a distraught mother who comes home to find her only son missing. Days go by and the boy is still missing until she receives the good news that her son has been found. The entire audience will suffer heartbreak when the mother so happy comes to find the boy is not hers. Her continued search for her real son Walter kept me wondering where the story was going and I had no idea of his true fate. The story not only revolves around her search for the boy, but also the scandal of the Los Angeles police and how they choose to cover up scandals from humane citizens. This story is gripping and emotional and kept me on my seat until the end.
