Jim Carey's lisp annoyed the hell out of me.

The Cable Guy —

Could not get over Jim Carey's annoying accent, it was like fingers on a chalkboard and I like Jim's other movies. "The Cable Guy" was the longest I have ever sat in one space hating everything about a movie without just getting up and turning it off.

A friend of mine recommended this movie, I haven't talked to him since. I know some people might find this funny but it was horrible in my opinion. I watch so called stupid movies and I love dumb humor but they killed this one.

I don't know what Jim Carey and Mathew Broderick were thinking on this one except it pays cash. I have loads of respect for both actors so I thought this would be a can't miss and boy was I wrong.

Thanks for speaking up about this. To tell you the truth, Jim Carey has always annoyed me. He always reminds me of the smart-aleck, hyper-active kid back in school who just wouldn't shut up or settle down. Perhaps people like that really just can't help it but I'm not about to pay to watch someone like that in a movie, no matter how funny it may be.
